My spiritual growth requires productive labor. It begins when I give myself over to attend regular services every week. Listen and carefully ponder the messages delivered. Prayerfully read and study the scriptures with real sincere intent and concentration. Through this process I will absorb new points of view in how to live an abundant Christian life.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ demands that I focus my attention toward healing and restoring my soul. Not toward analyzing another. For, when I look to another and ask how they are able to justify their behavior – I am walking in a spirit of condemnation. Another individual’s life and behavior does not help me focus on my own struggles and difficulties.
Through the scriptures I come to understand that my struggles are my own and not any other person. I need to focus more attention on understanding the reasons I do what I do and not worry about understanding another person’s reasoning for their behavior.
By focusing on my own difficulties and how to overcome them helps me learn and improve. Another person is not my problem. My problem rests upon me.
Today, I surrender my judgments and interests in understanding another person. Instead, I turn my thoughts over to understanding my own mistakes. Learn from them and grow in faith.
TODAY’S PRAYER AND MEDITATION
Heavenly Father, guide my thoughts to focus on my own heart and mistakes. Help me overcome those struggles I am dealing with and not give myself over to the worry and care of understanding reasons for another person’s behavior. In Jesus Name, Amen
